As Sales Operations Manager you will work closely with the Sales Director to increase sales of the Company’s games and other products across multiple channels throughout the US. You will be responsible for managing a variety of accounts, pitching new products to our buyers, attending various trade shows, and developing new customers.

You will also be the Company’s main point of contact for many of our customers. This work will include filling out new item set-up sheets, sending sales samples, coordinating order delivery windows, and communicating with both our buyers and with our internal operations team. 

 

Exempt, full-time position with benefits

Reports to: Partner/Sales Director

 

Sales - 30%

  • Manage relationships for a variety of key US sales accounts for the Company 
  • Present new titles to various buyers with follow-up
  • Review pricing, promotions, mark-downs, and the like with Sales Director
  • Provide ongoing tracking of sales by various channels
  • Work with Sales Director on forecasting sales by channel for yearly sales budget 
  • Potential for occasional travel as needed to meet with select customers

    Sales Support - 30%

    • Communicate order updates and PO changes to customers (eg. moving delivery windows)
    • Run lead on company’s CRM (Salesforce.com), input data, track leads, pull reports
    • Organize dinners/events for key customers  
    • Oversee all Small Retailer Accounts (primarily independent book, gift, comic, record and game stores). Provide customer service to individual customers and small retailers helping them with ordering, answering questions and setting up their accounts via Company website

        Amazon - 30%

        • Manage all sales facets of Amazon US and Canada accounts
        • Work with Amazon contacts to maintain healthy inventory levels, organize deals and launch new products 
        • Monitor Amazon pages for site-wide price management and product pages for issues

          Sales Development - 10%

          • With direction from Sales Director, expand Company’s list of accounts for National Chains, Small Retailers, and Special Sales throughout the US and Canada 
          • Expand Company’s list of Discount Retailers and Liquidators 
          • Develop leads to new customers via trade show lists and other means 
          • Track down and make contact with new buyers 
          • Identify new trade shows for the Company to attend 
          • Attend select trade shows
          • Schedule appointments with buyers at trade shows
          • Coordinate travel arrangements, hotels, trade show badges and the like for team
          • Organize printing of sales materials including sales sheets, order forms and catalogs for trade shows

          Minimum Qualifications:

          • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
          • 4+ years relevant sales experience
          • Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities
          • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
          • Experience managing direct reports

          Preferred: 

          • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
          • Comfortable in small, casual office environment
          • Driven, self starter
